Refund & Cancellation Policy
Reservations
- Advance reservations are required to ensure vehicle availability. Bookings can be made via telephone or online through our official website.
- A confirmed reservation requires an advance payment, either via credit/debit card or online transfer. Please read the cancellation policy before proceeding with a confirmed booking.
- Rental rates displayed online are dynamic and subject to change. Once a rate is selected and the transaction is completed, no rate adjustments will apply.
- The rental estimate includes the base rental fee, taxes, and any additional charges for selected services. Final charges may vary based on changes in tax rates or additional services availed during the rental period.
- Terra Verde Holding Cameroon reserves the right to modify or cancel a reservation in cases of fraudulent activities, booking errors, or suspected misuse.
- A valid driver’s license, identification document (passport or government-issued ID), and a credit card for additional charges are required at the time of vehicle pickup.
- Discounted or promotional rates are non-refundable and subject to availability. Terra Verde Holding Cameroon reserves the right to amend or discontinue promotions without prior notice.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation Requests: Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or online through our reservations system. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per the specific terms of the booking.
- Refundable Reservations: Cancellations made within the stipulated period (e.g., 48 hours before the rental start date) will be eligible for a refund, subject to processing fees.
- Non-Refundable Reservations: Promotional and discounted rates are non-refundable. Please verify the cancellation terms during booking.
- Early Return: If the vehicle is returned before the end of the rental period, no refund or credit will be provided for unused days.
- Group Rentals: For group or fleet rentals, cancellation terms apply collectively. For example, if three vehicles are booked for five days, the cancellation policy will apply to all 15 booked rental days.
Refund Process
- Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 2-4 weeks, depending on the banking and payment gateway systems.
- Refunds for bookings made through travel agents or third-party platforms must be processed by the respective agent or platform.
- In cases of unconfirmed reservations, no charges will apply, and any pre-authorized amounts will be released.
No-Show Policy
- Failure to pick up the vehicle on the scheduled rental start date will result in the automatic cancellation of the booking, and no refund will be issued.
- For late pickups, please notify the reservations office to hold the booking. Otherwise, the booking will be canceled as per the no-show policy.
Rental Modifications
- Modifications to confirmed bookings, such as changes in pickup/drop-off dates or vehicle types, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Rate adjustments may apply based on the new rental terms at the time of modification.
Children and Passenger Safety
- Child safety seats or other necessary equipment must be requested in advance and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
- Terra Verde Holding Cameroon adheres to local safety and legal requirements regarding child passengers. Drivers are responsible for ensuring compliance with these regulations.
Payment Security
- All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways. Personal and financial information, including credit card details, are protected with advanced encryption technologies.
